Steve, Marcel and Owen delivered this project through The IT Guy Bournemouth before Elements launched. It is a real customer build, not an AETHER5 prebuilt or a current fixed-price offer.
Start with the working day
Heidi described a mix of browser-based business work, meetings, spreadsheets, creative tools and everyday communication. Her older computer was slowing that work down. Rather than choose parts around a gaming label, Marcel compared two desktop specifications designed for the applications she actually used.
The case mattered too. Heidi wanted a computer that could sit comfortably in her office, so the black Fractal North, with its wood-slat front and warm internal lighting, became part of the design.
The documented build plan
The selected June 2025 AM5 specification recorded these main parts. The alternative AM4 proposal was a separate, lower-cost option; it should not be confused with this build plan.

Those are the parts in the recorded specification, not a promise that we would use the same models today. Current stock, software needs and budget would lead to a fresh quote.
A PC is more than the tower
The team also had to make the desk work. The available space affected the monitor arrangement, and the on-site visit covered the new desktop, monitor, software sign-ins and shared work files. Owen's setup record confirms the visit.

How this relates to AETHER5
Heidi's build and our AETHER5 concept share a preference for a restrained black-and-wood look. They are different specifications: AETHER5 is a proposed higher-performance creator workstation, while Heidi's machine was configured for her own office workload. We tailor each new build rather than treat either parts list as a universal answer.
